Pinspiration

Look what I did with $2.99 Ikea organizers. Crown molding just seemed so involved.  It took me about 20 minutes to complete.  Easiest DIY ever :)

Tea Cup

I love this skirt. It is so girly with its tea cup shape, but if you look close (and I didn't edit the pics to show...) it has beetles and bugs on it. Love that juxtaposition!

Weight Loss Wednesdays

I lost my SD card for a bit and I had to go to Seattle Fashion week without my CAMERA! Grrr... (Runway show was OK. Gift bags were NOT so ok, just ads!)

It proves that I have hobbies outside of being a mediocre blogger and an even worse weight loser! Ha ha..

SO here is my revelation and promise to myself. I will move my body everyday because it is good for me. That's it. I will (try to)do it.

I would like the scale to move down, but it doesn't define me. So I am working on it...

With no SD card, I have been using my camera phone. It is actually way easier than uploading pics with my fancy camera, but not nearly as nice looking!

What is great about this outfit is that when I put it on, I FOUND MY SD CARD IN THE POCKET! See?!? It was a good day!

Gotta Love Target!

I wanted this dress right when it came out, but didn't want to pay full price for it... (yes, cheap I know...) BUT Target ALWAYS marks these lines down, so I waited...

I found it just last week for 50% off! $17 dollars (or something like that!) YAY!

I didn't like the little string belt that came with it so I cinched it at the waist with a braided brown belt and wore the belt backwards. I decided that the Liberty of London print was "a whole lotta look" so I went with it tying the little string belt around my head to bring out my flower power.

All day long, I felt pretty. My long dress swishin'. My hair hippie-in'. When my sister (who is not into clothes like I am) saw me, even she wanted to embrace her inner flower child!
The only negative thing is that even though I LOVE Target, I still felt like everyone was looking at the dress thinking "oh I saw that at Target"... Is that so lame of me?
Do you ever feel that way? Like a million others could produce your look?

Happy Friday!

This dress is really pouffy after the belt line... In the pics, you can see it poking out of my coat! It's hard to call it a dress as I wouldn't wear it without leggings! (My booty would fall out! :)
But it makes for the perfect 1st grade teacher uniform.
I sit on the floor with kids, I crawl, I squat, I dance...I wear a lot of leggings to work.
Does the activity at your job dictate how you dress? I was just wonderin....

Have an amazing weekend! Enjoy the sun! (It is actually sunny in the NW! YAY!)
