Photo Story of CLOSING day! YAY Bean!

Today was Bean's Closing Day!  I became super obnoxious (which I mistake for cute!) and took pictures of his every move today!  Here they are... (with commentary)

Hey Bean. Hey Bean. You are such a grown up! You bought a HOUSE!  Show me your "I bought a house " face!

Beans favorite pic because I am being naughty and he is telling me to stop.
Please take a look at the right hand corner of this photo.  The stager left behind her ROTTING PUMPKINS!  Not Professional.  Not cool.

Mr. Fix It!  He found a hammer at the house today and after closing that hammer became his property!  Suckers!

Proud.

I love this photo.  His very own garage!  (note the hammer again.) Garage+hammer=That amazing smile!

My FAVORITE place to be in the house.  I steal away to here often.
Cleaning his new space!
What I was doing while he was on his hands and knees.  Eating potatoes.  Yeah...I said it. Potatoes.  Look at the back of the bag!  Ok...Potatoes shaped like chips...:)
The stairway has an amazing skylight.  We like to sit under it.
Dear Bean,

Knock. Knock.

Who's There?

OLD MAN!

I am so very proud of you in every way.  Your new house shows your courage and the ability to take risks.  You are my home buying hero!  XOXO!

Raise your hand...

Raise your hand if you want your blog to be cooler? I know I do! I am working on a theme now to reinvent it. It started as a way to keep my loved ones in the loop as I worked at Quiksilver this summer and now I am growing it. Slowly, but with a full time job of taking care of 20 6 year olds I get pooped. BUT its coming. Oh yes it is!

I get discouraged about comments sometimes though. I swear I could wear a sign that says "will dance for comments" OH that goes for followers as well! I have new followers and LOVE EVERYONE OF THEM (but don't personally know any of them in the top row!) But HELLS YA. I got me some peeps that weren't threatened by me to sign up. ;)

I had to do another post as the last was depressing and that really isn't my style. Plus it was depressing me even more that I had no comments (Thanks Jules for saving me from that pity party! LOL)

Onward and upward!

After Christmas Doldrums...

I am rarely the one who isn't postive and even now as I sit here in a dark grey cloud I don't feel overly pessimistic, but I can't shake this feeling of "blah nothingness" I have had for the last few days. It has been raining non-stop and I just feel sleepy (and weepy).

I try to remember that every year after Christmas I go through this. I just love the build up so much, I don't quite prepare for the let down.

What do you do when you feel this way? Maybe a new routine will help!

"she came 2010"

On New Year's Eve, Bean and I went to a friend's house for a PARTY!

When I came to the door, my friend's hubby exclaimed "Damn girl!  You CAME 2010!"
To which I answered with "Yes, Yes...I know.  I parked my hover car outside".
Who knew leg warmers were 2010?  I thought that they were retro 80's... Which may make them 2010!

Happy New Year and Hiatus...

Happy New Year all! This is the Christmas card that I send out to my loved ones and wanted to share how cute my sweetie is with all of you as well!  I love that we did not plan the fact that I am in all white and he is in all black!  Good and Evil? Ha ha...

Apologies for the unannounced hiatus.  I really do not know what happened!  I was out of town for Christmas in a land of no wireless (which every once in awhile is a good thing!) and Bean and I still have 2 more x-mas with family to go!

So Merry Merry to you all and I will be posting my resolutions soon!  I will be a slow poster till after the New Year (as if I am a fast poster now...LOL!)

Blogging is becoming such a release for me and I am sure that in my New Year's resolutions I will have a better commitment to what I want it to look like for me!

Thanks for all you support.

Zara and The Black Nativity

I went to go see The Black Nativity: A Gospel last night and LOVED IT! I have wanted to see it for years and this year Sanjaya (from American Idol fame) was a character in it. He definitely wasn’t the star, as so many of that choir voices were amazing!

I was moved to tears during more than one performance… I wish I could have taken all of you with me!
This is what I wore and I love this outfit so much. It feels like my personality is hanging on the outside of my body…It really sums me up. Bright, complicated, soft, girly, and fun. Enjoy!

Holiday Party...

Did someone say "Black Tie"?

In these polished, yet laid back styles, all eyes will be on you! These outfits stand alone, or could be the next big "power" couple! Blending the gold and silver accents on both looks say that we may be together, but we are still individuals. Cocktail or merger, anyone?
